These late model trucks also included a 17° swash plate High Pressure Oil Pump to provide an increased oil volume. The transmission options available were the new 4R110 Automatic and the ZF S6-650 6-Speed Manual Transmission. New automatic and manual transmissions were also introduced for the Super-Duty lineup. Horsepower increased from 201 hp to 275 hp and torque increased from 425 lb-ft to 525 lb-ft. Jeffrey Kavney, have you successfully used the MPVI2 on a 7. My main concern is having issues with even being able to use the tuner as I saw some connection issues. In 1999 Ford made some major changes to their truck lineup and to the 7.3L Powerstroke engine.
